Begin an imaging purchase with the examinations your department intends to perform, where patients will be examined and how images will reach the reporting team. A generator rating or detector size alone cannot settle that decision. Use the Perlove Medical catalogue to shortlist equipment, then compare a defined configuration and project scope. The questions below help a hospital, diagnostic centre or procurement team prepare that brief.

Mobile DR supports radiographic examinations where the equipment needs to move to the examination location. A surgical C-arm is selected for imaging access around an operating table and the required imaging modes. They are different procurement briefs. Use the workflow comparison below and have the clinical team define the intended examinations before selecting a model.
The generator, detector, imaging modes, mechanical configuration, software and connectivity change the offer. Compare installation, acceptance, training, warranty and service on the same basis. Browse the Perlove models and request a quotation naming the exact configuration; an advertised family name is not a complete specification.
Send the intended examinations, expected workload, operating table or room layout, access route and existing image-network requirements. List any preferred models and required options. Request an imaging-equipment quotation with equipment and site-work responsibilities stated separately.

Use one brief for every bidder. Mark which items are included, optional, excluded or awaiting confirmation, and ask for a revised offer where an essential requirement is unclear. These are purchasing routes, not interchangeable specifications. Perlove lists separate mobile DR and surgical C-arm ranges. Its C-arm catalogue also distinguishes conventional, flat-panel and three-dimensional systems. Have the responsible clinical team define the required examinations and capabilities before selecting a tier.
The PLD7900 has alternative detector configurations, including single or double panels and static or dynamic options, described on the manufacturer page. Treat these as configuration choices. Do not combine the most attractive specifications from several variants into one assumed standard package. Ask for an itemised model and option schedule with the quotation.
For example, Perlove's PLX8600 page describes a large-field radiography/fluoroscopy system. Its configuration should be assessed against the department's examination list and available space. A larger field or an additional mode is valuable only where it meets an identified requirement.
Share a dimensioned layout showing doors, corridors, lifts, patient transfer space and the intended equipment position. For a mobile unit, include the actual journey between departments and the proposed storage and charging location. For a C-arm, include the operating table model, planned table positions, staff access and required imaging angles. Ask for a clearance review using the offered configuration.
Request the manufacturer's installation requirements for electrical supply, earthing, environmental conditions, mounting and network connections. Assign responsibility for each enabling task and its cost. Have the facility's qualified radiation-protection and engineering personnel review shielding, operating arrangements and applicable approvals for the proposed use; a catalogue drawing is not a site-specific design.
Define the required DICOM services and PACS connections with the hospital's imaging and IT teams, then turn those requirements into an agreed integration test. Ask for the offered system's conformance documentation and identify which connections, licences and third-party work are included. A catalogue's networking description alone does not establish compatibility with every hospital system.
Include the hospital's IT and imaging teams. Specify patient and study identification, worklist needs, image export, archive destination, user access and the procedure during a network outage. Agree who configures and tests the connection, who can provide remote support and how that access is controlled. Do not assume that a successful image export proves every part of the hospital's workflow is connected.
Before purchase, agree the evidence required for handover: delivered configuration, installation records, functional checks, image-quality and radiation-related checks defined by the responsible specialists, connectivity demonstration and staff familiarisation. Assign responsibility for each record and any specialist assessment. The manufacturer's service page describes international support. Request project-specific terms covering Bangladesh support contacts, response arrangements, parts, preventive maintenance, software support and warranty exclusions. Separate remote advice from on-site attendance, and clarify coverage for the tube, detector, batteries and accessories. Include those costs when comparing ownership budgets.
