The CHI684 is a multi channel multiplexer that switches the working, sensing, reference and counter lines between cells so a sequence of experiments can be run unattended. Channels are chosen from the Control menu or by macro command, and data is saved to file after each run.

The stability shroud is a removable push fit collar for the probe head. Jandel advises against handling probe heads by hand because the tungsten carbide needles are thin, and the shroud is offered where handling cannot be avoided.
The CHI680D amp booster extends current measurement to 2 A and stacks with the host instrument. It also allows low current measurement, though a Faraday cage may be needed above 50 mV per second. Cell control signals for purge, knock and stir are disabled while the booster is connected.
The light shroud is a press fit shield for measurements on photosensitive samples. The two piece design fits the Multiposition, Microposition and Multiheight probe stands, and a lined black cloth shroud is offered for larger items.
