This family is cut to suit Meicen baseplates that use the pin-lock fixing design. Eight references are published: a reinforced neck-thorax mask at 2.4mm and 3.0mm, and chest-pelvic trunk masks in standard and standard with groin lock forms. Built around a pin-lock fixing, the C-Series all-in-one baseplate supports the head, head and shoulders, thorax, pelvis and full body, and Meicen configures it for both adult and paediatric treatments. H-Type violet thermoplastic masks are made by Meicen to fit its own B-Series baseplates. All eight published references are trunk masks covering the chest and pelvis, supplied as standard, standard with groin lock, reinforced and solid. Standard and groin lock sheets are published at 22% perforation in 2.4mm and 38% perforation in 3.0mm, while reinforced and solid sheets are listed at 2.4mm and 3.0mm. Thicknesses of 2.0mm and 3.2mm are also obtainable when specified at enquiry.
- Meicen C-Series Head & Shoulder & Breast Baseplate MC-CF002
This pin-lock C-Series plate is set up for the head, shoulders and breast and takes all S-Type thermoplastic masks as well as Meicen neck and breast masks. Headrest indexing uses standard silverman pins, and the plate is dual-configured so the same device serves adult and paediatric patients. Meicen lists compatibility with the Overhead Arm Support RC-ASF01 and leg positioner cushions. The underside is curved for patient comfort and several fixing positions are provided so immobilisation can be adapted to the individual.
