Specify the console and detector together. The useful wavelength and measurement range depend on the selected sensor and configuration, so a console model alone is not a complete optical measurement specification.
- Wavelength, beam and measurement mode
- State the wavelength, beam size and whether you need continuous-wave power, pulsed energy or a time trace. Include the expected power or pulse energy and repetition rate so the proposed sensor can be checked for range, aperture and damage limits.
- Exact console, compatible sensor and acquisition
- Identify PM100D2 or PM100D3 explicitly and request confirmation of the compatible sensor, measurement mode and data interface. Thorlabs' OPM software manual specifies USB for PM100D3 Scope Mode; confirm the current software and configuration for your intended acquisition.
- Complete quotation and calibration
- Ask the quotation to list the console, sensor head, cables, adapters and mounts separately. Confirm calibration documents, any recalibration arrangements, current availability, lead time and the agreed support scope for Bangladesh.
